The Miraval Resort in Tucson is an amazing Arizona luxury resort featuring an all-inclusive destination retreat you’ll likely not forget. I knew a young women who spent three days and nights at Miraval—a favorite spot of no less an authority on living life to the fullest than Oprah Winfrey—, and when she returned to the real world she said that henceforth her life would be divided into just two chapters: before Mirival and after Miraval.
For what you pay ($798-$1,300 minimum, probably more with added activities and such), one should be able to expect some sort of life-changing experience. You can usually find some sort of special package or a summer special rate if you go through there website.
This world-famous resort, on 400 acres backed by the Santa Catalinas, has 118 rooms, a full-service (and then some) spa, a whirlpool, sauna, Olympic-size lap pool, a full gym, an obstacle course, climbing wall, yoga and pilaties centers and much more. The rooms are very nice, but with all there is to do here you don’t spend much time inside; still, most of the casita-style accommodations have TVs, DVD players, wireless Internet and more.
